Chat, I went on a crazy run this week!
Right now, I play Geoguessr on the weekends for explorer maps and Wednesday evenings for country streaks. On Tuesday, Geoguessr's daily mission was to score 30,000 points on the Malta map (meaning playing at least 2 games) for 90 coins. I have never played the map so I jumped in.
Between the 4 seeds of A Community World, the 6 seeds of I Saw a Sign 2.0, and the 2 seeds of Malta, I managed to 25K all 3 of them. They are my first 25Ks outside of the 3 25K runs in the daily challenge.
The thing, tho, is that none of this was planned. I only played them because I wanted to record my first 10 attempts on the global maps and my 30K attempts on the national maps. The random seeds I have been given aren't too bad, but I also know that playing these maps enough times will net you a seed where scoring 25K is possible. I did not play these maps for long overall. I was in my 9th run on ACW, 8th run on I Saw a Sign 2.0, and it was my first attempt on Malta where I got 5 perfect rounds.
I'm kinda shocked that I was able to do this so quickly, usually it takes a while. Well, by time it did: I started playing A Community World in September 2025 and I Saw a Sign 2.0 in February 2026.
